Our jewellery is tried & tested for long-lasting wear, but it's important to note that all metals naturally oxidise over time and will require some maintenance.
Crafted with 18k gold plating over a stainless steel base of at least 10.5% Chromium, our jewellery is water-resistant, however, following these simple care tips will help you enjoy your Sol & Aura pieces for longer.
Jewellery Care Tips
Cleaning:
Gently wipe your jewellery with the cleaning cloth to remove any chemicals or dirt from the surface. We recommend using a cloth specifically designed for jewellery, as harsh cleaners can damage the gold plating. These cloths can also help restore the shine of your pieces.
While our jewellery is durable and can be worn in water, we recommend avoiding exposure to saltwater and chlorine as these can cause wear and tear over time.
Avoid:
- Spraying perfume directly onto your jewellery or exposing it to cosmetics, hair sprays, or body lotions.
- Contact with harsh chemicals like sunscreen and lotions.
- Wearing your jewellery while swimming or showering to preserve its condition.
- Storing jewellery in damp environments like bathrooms, as high moisture can accelerate tarnishing.
